Irma Nioradze was born in Tbilisi (Georgia). She graduated from Tbilisi School of Ballet and then studied at the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class Prof. Tatiana Udalenkova).
In 1988 she joined the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, and then in 1992 she joined the Mariinsky Theatre, where she became principal in 1992.
In 1990 – Irma became a prizewinner at the international Ballet competition in Jackson (USA).
In 1991 Irma trained with the Danish Royal Ballet (Copenhagen)
In 1998 Irma was invited to dance with the Hermitage Ballet.
